Which should be the aim?

The point is not to be successful in what you do. The point is to succeed as a human being. Wondering what? In being complete. For as long as possible and restore it more often and maintain it as much as possible. Due to the fact that man evolves and it is useful to evolve and change, naturally his needs and his paths in order to get back to the feeling of contentment.

And I don’t think there’s any human being who could actually achieve that without being Human. Sensitivity is the greatest weapon towards fulfillment. People who open doors for us add more things to our lives. Doors to thought and feeling not from the others. How rich someone is is determined by their needs and not what they have available or in their possession. Anyway, the only thing we somehow own is our available time and what we choose to do with it.

What is the meaning of life? For me, knowledge through experiences and the path towards ever deeper truth. Knowledge is about life experiences and spiritual human relationships. The deepest truth is the deepening in the understanding of our realistic as well as our emotional world and this is nourished by knowledge and experiences.

What I have just described could also be the profile of an adventurer. The element that makes you a human and not an adventurer, is to be okay with your conscience. In other words, good intentions. That is, love. Unless the person’s conscience suffers. In other words, he carries disabilities and in order to feel functional, he removes love and good intentions from his life and resorts to sophistry-rationalizations that suit his own disabilities.

Not that love isn’t a mental disorder too. But for me it is also the most useful and necessary on the eternal road to completeness and progress.

What I am saying is that I embrace the positions of Plato and Einstein which I consider complementary.

Plato: Love is a serious mental disorder.

Einstein: Love is the answer.

Precisely because love is the answer to everything, that is why it is perhaps the one serious disorder that is even necessary for a serious person to have.
